The heart of DEEPER
We’re not building a house; we’re creating a home.

Building a Home. Expanding the Mission.
Through DEEPER, we are preparing both a place for ministry and the resources to bring that ministry to life. The Family Life Center will create new opportunities to welcome families, build relationships, and lead people to Christ. Alongside that investment, we want to strengthen the ministries already serving our church and launch new ministries that carry the Gospel farther into our community and beyond.
Our $6 million goal represents our total giving over two years: approximately $3.5 million for the anticipated cost of the Family Life Center and $2.5 million to sustain ongoing ministry and operations, expand outreach, and fund new opportunities for ministry. This includes the regular giving our church family already anticipates during those two years, together with additional generosity toward the vision.
We’re investing in the space where people will gather and the ministry that will meet them there. Our prayer is that every room, every relationship, and every opportunity will serve one purpose: to lead people to See the Way, Know the Truth, Live the Life.

What is DEEPER?
DEEPER is Friends Baptist Church’s call to grow in our walk with Christ, strengthen families, disciple the next generation, and carry the Gospel farther. Expanded ministry spaces are part of creating a church home where every generation can encounter Jesus Christ and grow in faith.
What is the campaign goal?
Our $6 million goal represents our total giving over two years: approximately $3.5 million for the anticipated cost of the Family Life Center and $2.5 million to sustain ongoing ministry and operations, expand outreach, and fund new opportunities for ministry. This includes the regular giving our church family already anticipates during those two years, together with additional generosity toward the vision. Our participation goal is 100%, inviting our church family to take part together.
How should my family prepare to make a commitment?
Over the next few weeks, we’ll share commitment cards outlining giving tiers for the DEEPER journey. We invite each family to take time to pray together, seek the Lord’s direction, and thoughtfully consider how He is leading them to participate. These tiers are a starting point for prayerful consideration as we prepare to take this step of faith together.
On Commitment Sunday, we’ll invite our church family to bring those prayerfully considered commitments as an expression of faith, generosity, and shared purpose. Together, we’re investing in the ministry God has entrusted to us today and the opportunities to reach more people in the years ahead.
As you pray about your part, consider the regular giving you already expect to give over the next two years, plus additional generosity toward the vision, as one total two-year commitment. The DEEPER booklet also invites an initial Jumpstart Gift. Use the booklet to explore the vision and giving options.
Do I need to designate my offering or gift to the “Building Fund”?
No. DEEPER is a one-fund campaign. Your giving supports one shared ministry vision, so you do not need to designate your DEEPER gift separately to the Building Fund.
How does a one-fund campaign work?
A one-fund campaign brings our regular giving and additional generosity together into one two-year commitment. As you prayerfully consider your commitment, include what you already expect to give during those two years, along with any additional amount you feel led to give.
Together, those gifts support the ongoing ministry of Friends Baptist, expand our outreach, provide resources to launch new ministries, and help build the Family Life Center.
What ministry spaces are planned?
The planned order is a secure Children’s Ministry Wing first, followed by the Family Life Center. The children’s wing includes a dedicated nursery and secure children’s worship space, with an enlarged, welcoming lobby. These spaces support welcoming families and discipling the next generation. Where can I make a pledge or learn about giving?
You can give online through the church’s Give page, in person through our tithing plates and envelopes, or by mail to 1840 Lewisville-Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012. For creative giving, email deeper@friendsbaptist.church. To make a DEEPER commitment, use Pledge Now. The DEEPER Booklet explains the vision and giving options.
